Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the potential of your gear. It lets you add bonus stats onto the base value of your item.
Each upgrade template has an array of options that can be changed through the edition GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the chance to upgrade.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading armor and weapons in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. If Full Write-up select an item to upgrade, the game will show an overview of what the expected statistics will be after upgrading, and the required component or material needed. If you do not have the necessary level of resource or component to upgrade an item, the button will show "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor and trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these can be filled with different upgrades that provide attribute bonuses or other effects while the equipment is in use. These upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchased from a vendor, or taken as an incentive.
There are two types of upgrade components such as universal upgrades and gems. Universal upgrades are comparable to gems and are able to be used in any equipment. They offer a lower bonus than other upgrade components. Obtaining these is fairly simple, as they can be dropped by enemies, or looted all over the world. Gems, on the other hand are gained by disassembling items or by completing certain missions.
Upgrades can be removed and replaced with new ones that fit in the weapon's slot. However, this will destroy any previous upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs which can be placed in gathering tools, cannot be removed from an item once they have been placed. Infusions, which can be placed in ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enhancements that can only be removed by using an upgrade extractor or by salvaging the item using an advanced salvage kit can be replaced once per hour.
Recycled items
During the two World Wars, the depletion of natural resources forced the world to recycle. Recycling things like aluminum, plastic and paper is a common practice. They are given a new purpose. Recycling is a great way to save energy and keeps carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. It's also a great way to reduce the need for landfills and preserve natural resources. Sagbe is a Token Shop dealer in the game. The redemption of active codes will allow you to get free rerolls in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to purchase a variety of items including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls can be useful in the beginning of the game, when you need to build your inventory and dungeon gear. They are not the most effective method to boost your character's stats. Leveling

However, this bonus does not apply to the item's quality Chance which is resets once the item reaches its target level.
The Upgrade NPC also provides an option to transfer gear. The Upgrade NPC can also provide a transfer service for gear.
